Science Unaided Environmental Science

Profile

The PG course in Environmental Science started from the academic year 2003-04. Environmental Sciences at B. K. Birla College is a visionary department leading to dissemination and promotion of Environmental Science as an interdisciplinary subject. We believe in promoting a practical and knowledge-based approach and is devoted to inculcating in students the crucial role of environmental science and thus ensuring the well-being of humanity now and in the future. The course combines the joint expertise of faculty from B. K. Birla College and eminent scientists, researchers and environmentalists from various Industries, Research Organizations, NGOs and other colleges which help widen the environmental knowledge of the student. The laboratory is well equipped by advanced and sophisticated instruments. The department organises various Seminar / Workshop, activities and social outreach activities. The department has consistent 100% results every year. The department conducts campus recruitment for the students.
